Showing appreciation

Who doesn't like to get credit for the good deeds? Even when it's small things we help with at home? I do. It gives me such a warm feeling when my small children thank me for small things I do for them. Which makes me more aware of how important it is to encourage them with positive feedback when they do something nice or helpful. I realize it is very important as well to show appreciation to my husband. Sometimes I might think " well... he's a grown up, he knows I appreciate what he's done", but really it doesn't take much to thank with words, or a kiss or just by being very nice back. Small signs of appreciation make relationships easier going, and give the home a general atmosphere of harmony and serenity.
